Installation on BMW OPS/GT1/OPPS DIS V57 SSS V41 Fit IBM T30

OPS/OPPS has been designed for encoding, individual listing and programming (CIP) via the Software Service Station (SSS) and envisaged for use as part of the BMW diagnostic system (DIS) from DIS Plus and Group Tester One (GT1). It is intended for testing and programming tasks from the E65 series, taking the place of the diagnostic head.

What is the difference between GT1, OPS and OPPS?

These three kinds of BMW diagnostic tools are sharing the same functions.

GT1 is good for cars before 2005, while OPPS and OPS are good for cars from 2005 onwards. Compared to OPS, the OPPS owned the better quality.

I found the installation instruction from BMW OPPS DIS V57 SSS V39 webpage atXcardiag.com. I think this free download files can both work on BMW GT1 DIS V57 SSS V41, BMW OPS DIS V57 SSS V41, BMW OPPS DIS V57 SSS V41.

How to enter DIS V57

1. Put T30 hard disk into IBM T30 laptop.

2. Start the computer and wait for 2 seconds. (Be patient and wait)

3. Untill the screen comes up a picture with “DIS”. It means it finishes the start of software and begins to diagnose car.

How to Start SSS V39 coding software

1. Star computer and open software

2. When the second screen appears, press “F2” button on the laptop

3. Computer will go to SSSV39, and you will see SSS V39 Version information and SSS39 language options.
